All Things Detestable.

Anachronistic advertisements.

Coke minus the fizz.

Tangled earphone wires/laptop chargers.

Food in airplanes.

Bad photographs.

A fifty plus air-hostess.

Tattoos of stars, something in Urdu or something as generic.

Ex-best friends.

Small talk.

Crows.

Cottage cheese.

90210.

People who exceed the time limit during a presentation.

Farmville requests.

Facebook notifications, in general.

Twitter. Narcissism Unlimited.

Hip hop and rap music.

Astonishingly loud children in restaurants, elevators and theaters.

Healthy food. Purely because not much of it is tasty.

Unreasonably expensive public transport and the way the government increases petrol prices at random intervals. It always catches me by surprise, and burns a huge hole in my pocket.

That Josh Groban song 'You Raised Me Up' which EVERY aspiring singer on a reality show would have tried to reproduce. It isn't even a good song.

Your spelled as you're. And vice versa.

wRiting lyk dis on Facebook.

Saying LOL or OMG in real life.

Incorrect grammar.

People who post really personal stuff on their blogs, and then feel that people have pre-conceived notions about them.

Taking books or movies too seriously.

Parents who make their children learn Chinese, because it is 'the language of the future'.

Parents who drill in the whole IIT-IIM thing into their kids.

People who live their whole lives thinking they have 'potential' because their mom said so.

How my hair gets so tangled up when travelling in an auto that when I comb them later, they make that scary static-filled-I-am-going-to-break-and-leave-you-bald noise.

The times I lose at Scrabble.

The guy who writes crap but calls himself an 'entertainment writer' and not a 'serious writer' to cover up for aforementioned crap writing. Then the same guy regularly writes 600 word editorials in Times of India. Should we assume that you want to be taken for a fool there as well?
Read: Chetan Bhagat.

Plagiarists who hire a legal team to sue anyone who brings up blatant plagiarism on charges of defamation. All the attempts at rationalizing stealing music are listen up, FAIL.
Read: Pritam

Sentences peppered unnecessarily with swear words.

Racism.

Sexual harassment.

Women being used as weapons of war in regions around the world.

Encounter killings.

Closed cases.

Lack of ambition.

Damn, I hate a lot of stuff.

:| :| :|
My first tattoo is in urdu :|
and the second one is in Latin. :/
Its not always generic.
Stars yes. Ugh. They make no sense. As also skulls and butterflies. Yuck.

"Hip hop and rap music."
I am a hip hop dancer and I think rap music by anyone apart from Eminem is crap. :/

well apart from that.... Pritam, Chetan Bhagat, Farmville, IIT IIM, Racism .. - agreed.

But seriously I have to ask, WHO the heck wants their kid to learn CHINESE?! HAHHAHAHHAHHAHAHHAHAHHA :D

I'm assuming you're talking about Air Indian Air Hostesses, when you talk about 50+ Air Hostesses.
My sister had a friend whose mom was one. The only reason it is the way it is, with Air India, is because they don't fire their employees when they age. Another important thing is that most of them are single moms.

I used to dislike them too, but that was before I found out about this.
I hope you it makes you change your mind too :).

Anyway, I do agree with most of the other stuff here.

Most people out there will always do things that we might dislike, but the fact that we dislike those things is never going to be enough for them to change. So, we just need to make our way around co-existing with them, and find our own happy place.

Hate is a strong word. Be happy. :)

Ice Maiden, I am SO sorry if I offended you in any way over the tattoo thing. I was talking about people who get the tattoos just to be cool.
As for hip hop, I meant mainstream hip hop and rap music. Of course, they're catchy and I don't expect majority of the people to dance on anything but it. In fact, my sister dances on these songs all the time. :D
And yes, I actually DO know a person studying Chinese for the same reason. Hilarious, isn't it? :D

Kshitiiiiiiiiiiiiij, I'm finally replying to your comment.

I understand and completely respect your point of view on the Air India airhostess issue. But the fact is, that these over-worked, much burdened women have become a bit of a joke in the airline sector. Instead, they should retire early, and the airline companies must provide for their pension, and give them other monetary incentives.

Also, I made the statement based on a crap personal experience with them, some time ago.

"Women being used as weapons of war in regions around the world." - So True... And it has been going on for, well, for quite a long time now...

Quite a lot of things found their way into "I hate" stuff. Maybe, now it's time for "I really like it" details :-)))
